Dan Slentz; Co-Owner/President/CEO
Dan is Co-owner, President, CEO and Network Engineer of Oasis Online. Dan has over 19 years experience in Network Engineering and design. Dan moved to Fallon in 1979 at age 10 and entered the Churchill County School District as a 5th grade student. He graduated from Churchill County High School in 1987. Dan subsequently entered the United States Navy where he served for 9 years. During this time he received a Navy Achievement Medal from the secretary of the Navy for creating a Navy blood bank database while serving aboard the USNS Mercy during the Gulf War. From 1991 to 1997 he served as one of the Network Administrators for a 2400 node network at Balboa Hospital, San Diego, California.
Dan is a Certified Information Security Manager and has been involved in consultation with School Districts concerning security measures and high level network support since 2002.
Dan has a family of 4 children and enjoys riding motorcycles, roller hockey and scuba diving.
Bill Slentz; Co-owner/CFO
Bill is co-owner and CFO of Oasis Online. Bill has been in management and business ownership for over 45 years.
The Slentz family moved to Fallon in 1979 while Bill was employed with the Bank of California, Farm and Ranch Management Division. In 1985, Bill became a co-owner of Stockmen’s Rentals & Sales, a construction equipment rental business in which he served as President and CEO for 12 years. Also from 1985 to 1997 he owned and operated Nevada Management Systems, a company specializing in small business management consultation and accounting. Nevada Management Systems provided business management consultation and accounting for 13 businesses in Nevada and California.
Bill has served on the Board of Directors of Fallon National Bank/Interwest/Colonial, the Churchill Community Hospital Board and Christian Life Center Board of Directors. He served 4.5 years as a member of the Churchill County School District Board of Directors with 2 years as President. Bill also served 1 year as President of the Greater Fallon Area Chamber of Commerce. Bill served as a Commissioner with the Governor's Commission on Educational Technology from August of 2005 to December 2011.
Bill’s hobbies include Tennis, Racquetball, Golf and flying.
